Abstract:
The purpose of the study to find out the difficulties that faced by the teachers when using IWB in the teaching process, identify suggestions to overcome the problems faced by the teachers when using teaching IWB in the teaching learning process, and identify the teacher’s perceptions on using IWB in the teaching learning process at Zliten college, Alasmarya Islamic university. The design of the research was quantitative descriptive which obtain the data through questionn9aires. The participants of this study were ten English teachers. The collected data was analyzed by using statistical method which percentage. The results of the study showed that teachers face difficulties in using interactive boards is because of their lack of knowledge on using these technologies. On the other hand, lack of suitable presentations and instructional materials, teacher’s inability to fix technical failures by themselves and the lack of preparations to be made before classes are the reasons constituting other difficulties. The study was concluded with conclusions and suggested some recommendations for the teachers.
