dc.description.abstract Adjectives one of the important parts of speech which the learners need to know for making the sentences knowing of adjectives play an important role in determining the meaning of the sentences. This study aimed at the problems that students face in secondary school in using adjectives. This study discusses the reason behind the occurrences oh problems adjectives uses the process and to suggest effective techniques for teaching adjectives uses the adopted descriptive methods. The results of this study indicate the EFL students are not able to differentiate between adjectives, adverbs and noun. Most of EFL learners are not able to use adjectives properly. There are factors that contributed to the occurrence of problems represented in the curriculum teaching and the students as well as the same adjectives. In light of the finding of the study. It was recommended that giving adjectives of space of the curriculum and raise awareness and identifying and motivation students as well as the importance that it attaches established interest when thought. Finally, the researcher presented several recommendation for further students in this field . en_US
