Abstract:
Majority of vocational training students begin their education without having any basic Knowledge or experience in the tasks they are expected to perform in the future Demonstration method is therefore significant teaching and learning tool and described as an approved method of demonstrating competence among vocational training students.
This study aims to investigate students' and teachers' satisfaction with the teaching of English language using Demonstration method to provide a better overall competence. Furthermore, this study aims to teach the students the English language, using Demonstration method as an effective tool, both in learning and competence. There were forty (40) participants in the third year level and three (3) English teachers in Kadosh Institute in Ziiten. The questionnaires were conducted among the teachers and students. On the second part of the questionnaire it has the Interview section that was also conducted among the three teachers. The result shows some differences between students of different groups as the participants of the study It was found out that students are seldom introduced by new teaching methods such as demonstration method in teaching English. The teachers relied heavily on the traditional method which is lecture and grammar translation method based from their responses in the survey questionnaire On the other hand three teachers
were being the subject of the interview part of the study and the result was significant that Demonstration method is a good teaching method for teaching English in the vocational training institute.
